Suns And Grizzlies Reportedly Agree To A Deal
USA TODAY Sports

The NBA offseason has seen many trades and free agent signings from teams around the league.

On Thursday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns have agreed to a deal involving draft picks and one player.

Via Wojnarowski: "PICKS TRADE: The Memphis Grizzlies are trading three second-round picks to the Phoenix Suns for two first-round pick swaps (2024 and 2030) and Isaiah Todd, sources tell ESPN. The seconds are 2025 via Pels, and Memphis’ 2028 and 2029 picks."

Via Wojnarowski: "In 2024 and 2030, Memphis will have the right to swap its own first for the lesser of the Suns/Wizards firsts, sources tell ESPN."

Todd was the 31st pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and has spent the first two seasons of his career playing for the Washington Wizards (he had been recently acquired in a trade).

This past year, he played in six games and averaged 1.5 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest.

In addition, the 21-year-old spent time in the G League and averaged 6.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest.

The Suns are coming off a season where they were the fourth seed in the Western Conference and defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the NBA Playoffs (in five games).

Following the Clippers, they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the second round (in six games).

As for the Grizzlies, they were the second seed in the west but lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round (in six games).
